We begin with an introduction to the history of the Château de la Crée, which was founded in 1431 on the land of Nicolas Rolin, Chancellor to Philippe le Bon, Duke of Burgundy.
We then visit our clos du Château, a 1,5 hectare (3.7 acres) plot planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
We explore Burgundy's appellation classification system and the importance and diversity of terroirs through an analysis of the landscape.
The experience also covers the distinctive characteristics of the Santenay appellation, Château de la Cree's approach to winemaking and our vineyard management practices.
You will enjoy an interactive guided tasting of six wines, including one Grand Cru, paired with small bites.
The experience takes place in our 15th-century vaulted cellars or, weather permitting, in our clos du Château.
Individual groups of four or more are guaranteed a private experience.
