Historical introduction to Château de la Crée, founded in 1431 on the land of Nicolas Rolin, Chancellor to Philippe le Bon, Duke of Burgundy.

We will then visit our clos du Château, a 1,5 hectare (3.7 acres) plot planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

We will explore Burgundy' appellation classification system and the importance and diversity of its terroirs through a landscape interpretation. The experience will also cover the distinctive characteristics of the Santenay appellation, Château de la Crée's approach to winemaking, and our vineyard management practices.

You will then enjoy a guided, interactive tasting of six wines, including one Grand Cru, paired with small bites.

This experience takes place in our 15th-century vaulted cellar, or in our clos du Château, weather permitting.
